Amy Nguyen has over seventeen years of experience teaching 5th grade and middle school Math and Science. A native of Vietnam, she received her Multiple Subject teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton, her Master’s in Education and Administrative Services Credential from San Jose State University, and completed her Single Subject Science from Cal State East Bay. She considers teaching as a form of art of which teachers are artists who convey knowledge to the audience through entertainment; and she does just that with joy and passion. Fun learning with teamwork and student success is her ultimate goal. This school year, she comes to Sunrise as a 5th grade teacher and is super excited to be part of the elite team and thrilled to have the privilege of serving Sunrise Middle School students and its community. Her hobbies are traveling, salsa dancing, hiking, and biking.
