Jesus Meraz, Assistant Principal, was born in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States at age 12. He received his Associate in Arts degree in Social Science from Mission College, his Bachelors of Arts in Social Science from San Jose State University, and his Master’s in Education from The National Hispanic University. He loves music and sports and is a San francisco Giants fan!
“As administrator, I understand the importance of collaboration and the difficulties that students in low-income areas are faced with,” Mr. Meraz says. “I find being an educator is a lifelong profession/vocation. Having the opportunity to impact students and their families is a dream come true.”
