Justin Roosenschoon

Justin Roosenschoon has been studying computer science for seven years now. He has made many websites for local businesses and has been working in the web industry for three years. He currently goes to San Jose State University studying computer science and mathematics, and also teaches children how to code at Code With Us in Campbell. When Justin is not working on websites or teaching, you can find him in the outdoors hiking and kayaking.

Salvador Rosales

Salvador is part of a working-class immigrant family who came to the United States when he was 1 year old and grew up in East Palo Alto. He is currently studying Philosophy at San Jose State University and hopes to become a Philosophy professor one day! He enjoys training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is an advocate for healthy living, not only through physical fitness and healthy eating but also through critical thinking and self-reflection! In his free time, he likes to relax outdoors, drive around listening to music, and read a good book, unsurprisingly, about philosophy! He is happy to be part of the Sunrise community, and looks forward to getting to know all of the amazing people and students!

Jose “Charly” Sandoval

I was born and raised in Mexico and have been a teacher for eight years. I love teaching and am dynamic, especially when playing games. I am working towards being an English Teacher. I love all types of exercise, martial arts and writing.

Isabelle Santiago

Ms. Isabelle is a northern California native, born in Sacramento, she moved to the Bay Area when she was 15. She graduated from Lincoln High School and has been a caregiver and nanny. She is working in the office and in the after school program. She plans to pursue a career in social work or counseling.

Yarelly Trujillo

Yarelly was born in the Bay Area and moved to a town in Central California when she was young. She was very involved with extracurricular activities throughout school and her early life. Yarelly currently attends California State University Northridge to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She wants to be able to help students grow as individuals and reach their full potential. She enjoys going to Disneyland, hiking, listening to music and reading.

Liliana Vital

I was born and raised in San Jose, CA. I currently attend San Jose State University as a full time student pursuing a bachelor’s in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Marketing. When my brothers were students at Sunrise, I volunteered to raise money for student activities and now I’m happy to be working alongside the students in the after school program!
