On Wednesday evening, the Santa Clara County Board of Education voted unanimously to renew Sunrise Middle School’s charter for another five years!

Contributing to this wonderful outcome were our students’ impressive state test scores in mathematics, English language arts, science, and English Learner progress, along with our commitment to educating the “whole child” through strong academics, mental health support, and a wealth of enrichment programs and experiences.

One of the most moving parts of the evening was hearing from our students, parents, and staff, who spoke from the heart about how Sunrise has made a difference in their lives and how safe, supported, and welcomed they feel at our school.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who came out to support us, and to our entire Sunrise family – students, parents, teachers, staff, and supporters – who have helped make our school such a special place.

Here’s to five more wonderful years of learning, growing, and making a difference in the lives of our children!
